On January 21, 2020, the first COVID-19 case was reported in the United States.
Since then, there have been about 35 million cases reported along with 613 thousand confirmed deaths as a result of COVID-19.
This visualization highlights the number of cases and deaths in each state since the pandemic began. It also displays the percentages of the population in each state that
have/had COVID-19 and the percentages of the states' population who died from it.
